Valentine's Shinanegans

It's Sunday evening and we just got back from the Boboli Gardens.  We finally did something productive! haha It was so pretty there, it reminded us all of the Secrert Garden.  Which kind of reminded me of home since everyone says the jungle I live in reminds them of the Secret Garden. boo :(  It was so nice out today and I definitely wore too much clothing.  Trecking up the awkward steps at the Boboli was rather exhausting and it was too hot out for winter clothing.  Anyway after that we just went to the grocery store to get ingrediants.  Kaitlynn's cooking one of her fav meals for us tonight.  Apparently I am up next but I don't cook soo I dont se that ending well.  Tiana and Kat cooked THE most amazing dinner for us the other night though.  We had ricotta and spinach niocci (sp?) and baked risotto balls.  I def gotta get those recipes from them.  That night we just ate dinner/drank wine and stayed in. It was a very funny evening..."I mean honestly.. have you ever had a bad ball?" aha

Yesterday was Valentine's Day.  I think that holiday is bigger here than at home.  There were couples EVERYWHERE.  Me and Kait went to Reviour to get "the worlds best hot chocolate" and it was full of couples.  The hot cocoa was legit dark chocolate melted into a cup.  I struggled drinking the whole thing it was so filling.  But they did this cool chocolate floating  thing in it that said Reviour on it.   Then we did some shopping and I bought something at Zara for the first time ever.  I also found this adorable jewelry story where they make all their jewelry in the store.  So cute and def what I want to be able to do when I go home.  I bought a little flower clip for my hair, something small since the store wasnt exactly what I would call cheap.

Last night we went to dinner as a group for V-Day.  G made us reservations at a restaurant over the Arno.  It was really nice, we had a lot of wine (Tiana maybe a bit too much haha) and ordered pasta and stuff.  We were there for a really long time though, which is how family style dinners are here.  So then we went to Twice after and had a lot of fun.  And every night I spend less and less money and its fabulous haha.  Last night I spent $0 and got shitfaced.  Loves itttt !

My grandmother is doing a little better.. she sat up on her own yesterday I guess which is a step after breaking your back.  My parents have been very difficult to get a hold of since theyre always at the hospital.  I tried calling them lke 40 times yesterday and never got in touch which really freaked me out.  I was a stressed out mess at dinner.  Anyway now I'm exhausted and have a ton of work to do for tomorrow so I am going to go do that.
